Mount Arafat is a very significant place for Muslims as it is the place where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave his Farewell Sermon.
Wondering what’s special about this place? The architecture. This hill is made up of several rocks of various sizes and is 230 feet in height. The highest peak is at 454m from ground level that offers stunning views. This particular spot is also referred to as the Mountain of Mercy.
An interesting fact about this place - It is said that Adam and Eve, the first humans to step foot into the world met on this very peak. However, there are mixed reviews on this saying since there’s no proof if it really happened here. Thus, all the more reason to visit this historic place.
Once you reach Mount Arafat, you can climb up the mountain itself, or just take in the beautiful view from the bottom alone.
