Mount Thawr

Mount Thawr holds an important historical event. This is where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companion Abu Bakr (RA) took refuge during their Hijrah from Makkah to Medina. It is said that on the word of Allah, a spider wove a gigantic web at the entrance of the cave - where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companion, Abu Bakr (RA) hid - so that enemies couldn’t find them. 

You can visit the cave at the top of this mountain and find yourself immersed in the islamic history and its events.
